Our Story

How it all started...

Cocoa First Assembly began over 60 years ago as a ministry to children and youth. In the early days the church was a 'Sidewalk Sunday School' on the streets of Cocoa. Since then the church has continued to have a heart for the young.  Today we have become  a  loving  community of committed members and friends, who enjoy worshipping  the Lord together.

The church first met on Clearlake Avenue soon moving to  a small house on Pineda Avenue.  In 1964, the church built their first church facility on School Street in Cocoa.

The church met at the  School Street location until 1986, when the congregation purchased the current  property on U.S. Highway 1.  The sanctuary building was constructed at that time. Since then, CFA has added additional property and built our current multi-purpose Family Life Center, which now houses the Salt & Light Bookstore and the Life Recaptured Connections Café, as well as a gym, classrooms and a stage.

Today we continue to trust the Lord for His plans for our future!
